Clyffside grows up
- Clyffside has tidied itself round a proper market square: the general store, the bank, the houses, the Wobbly Rat and a new smithy all face the cobbles, with stalls, flowers round the fountain, torches on the walls and signposts to point the way. The Wobbly Rat has a front door on the square now, and a table outside.
- The village smith sells bronze and iron armour: helmets, chainmail, breastplates, leg armour and shields. Bronze costs what it is worth; iron costs rather more, as it does in Saltcrown. He has a furnace and an anvil for anyone who would rather make their own.
- Fresh off the beach? A chicken run and a cow pen stand beside the lane up from Dangerhollow, gates and all, for your first fights. When you are ready for more, a track off the east road points towards a goblin watch camp north-east of the village, with a rickety lookout tower and a chest someone ought to check for traps.
- Two new cottages on the edge of the village, and fenced vegetable patches behind the cottage on the north lane and the house by the road.
- A trader whose stall you have just robbed won't buy anything from you for a while, so stolen bread no longer goes straight back over the counter.
