A new quest follows on from Stay Out of the Old Mine: What Stayed Below (2 quest points; Quarrying 20 and Forging 15). The elder of Copperhollow has not slept, and he wants a word.
A new ore, deep iron (Quarrying 20), and a dwarven forge to smelt it in, for those who earn it.
A lift now runs from the old mine's yard in Copperhollow down into the deep, for those who have made it run.

Raw fish now costs a little more than the cooked fish sells back for: shrimp 4, anchovies 5, herring 11, cod 22, trout 25, salmon 31, tuna 44, lobster 53, swordfish 76 and shark 113.
Bread dough at the Falbridge bakery is 17. Hides and leather at the Falbridge leather stall are 38 each.
Silver bars are 75 and gold bars 225. Cut stones cost a quarter above their worth: aqua 57, mint 100, blue 150, green 300 and red 600. Uncut stones in Falbridge are aqua 44, mint 83, orange 139 and blue 133.
A beer is 10 in every tavern, and a pot 10 at the Artisans' Guild stores and the Highcrown general store.
Food, leather goods and jewellery made from bought goods no longer sell back at a profit. Fish you catch, hides you tan and stones you mine are worth as much as before.

Reading the unsigned letter by the road below Copperhollow now starts Stay Out of the Old Mine, and your quest list tells you to find out who wrote it. Lost it before showing the elder? Another lies where the first one did.
Not sure who to ask about the letter? Any villager of Copperhollow will take a look at it, and point you to someone who might know.
Fixed: a login page left open while the realm was updated could show some quest scrolls one step off. It now reloads itself first.

The metal stalls in Falbridge and Saltcrown now ask 26 coins for a bronze bar, 45 for iron and 96 for steel, as the dwarves' stores do. Bars bought there no longer turn a profit at the anvil.

In the caves, rock between you and the floor is cut down low, whichever way you turn the camera, so you can see tunnels, the near edges of halls and yourself walking along a wall; rock right in front of you fades away around you.

Every cave has been dug out further: the Runmere mine, the deep mine below it, the drift and the old workings under Copperhollow, Hob's Hole, Sorrow Barrow, the Giants' Larder, the Smugglers' Cave, the Cutpurses' Den and the Old Wolf Tunnel. The old square rooms are rounded caverns now, joined by wider, winding passages, with raised floors, ramps and shelves of rock out of reach.
Still pools lie in the low places, and in the Smugglers' Cave the sea has come in under the hold.
The mine tunnels are timbered, with rails running through them and carts standing on the rails, and stalagmites, stalactites and crystals have grown wherever they were left alone long enough.
Torches stand along the main ways, about a dozen steps apart. They are all dark: bring a tinderbox and light them, and they stay lit for whoever comes after you.

Stay Out of the Old Mine: when the great door deep below the mine opens, you now see it happen, as a short scene. It stands open for you afterwards. Skip it with the button, Escape or Space.

The caves' walls are rough, rounded rock now, not straight walls of blocks: they bulge and lean, stand higher in one place and lower in the next, and loose stones lie at their feet.
The caves are darker, and nobody brings a light of their own below any more. Carry a lit lantern, or light the torches on the walls and on iron stands with a tinderbox: a lit torch lights the rock round it, lets you see what you are doing in the darkest places, and stays lit for whoever comes after you.
New things to find underground as the caves are dug out further: stalagmites and rock columns, stalactites hanging from the rock, glinting crystals, still pools, mine rails with carts on them, and timbers holding up the old tunnels.
