Towers you can climb

Castle Marlowe in Saltcrown has four corner towers you can go into: two round ones on the north wall and two square ones by the gate. Climb the ladders four storeys up to the lookouts and the battlements, past the stores, the guards' bunks and the armoury.
The keep stands between the two round towers now, its hall and the family's rooms upstairs a little snugger than before.

Pitched roofs have thickness now, a board along the eaves and a cap along the ridge, instead of lying on the walls like paper.

The rocky headlands at each end of the starting beach are crags of the mountains now, not dark walls.

Hit points come back by themselves only one a minute now, so food is what heals you.
Run energy comes back more slowly, and Athletics makes a real difference: at higher levels it comes back several times faster, and running uses less of it, so a full bar lasts up to twice as long.

A world map: click the minimap, press M or the Map button. Drag to look around; scroll, pinch or use + and − to zoom, and Me takes you back to where you stand.
It shows only where you have been. The rest lies in the dark until you walk there, and your map stays with your character.
Down in the caves, the map shows the caves.

The sea goes on past the edge of the land now, south of the harbour and all round, instead of ending in a dark wall.
The water moves: its surface drifts, and small whitecaps come and go on it.

Forestry uses the best axe you carry, in your pack or in your hand, and you can see it in the swing. A better metal fells trees faster.
An axe needs the Precision level of its metal to chop with: steel 5, black 10, blue 20, green 30, cyan 40, red 60. Bronze and iron need none.
Quarrying likewise uses the best pickaxe you carry, and swings it.
Pickpocketing shows: you crouch, turn to your mark and reach for the pocket. There is a short pause between attempts, and clicking faster does not hurry it.

The chat and the side menu each have a ✕ at the end of their tabs that closes them all the way, so the whole screen is the world.
A small button in the corner opens them again; the chat's tells you how many messages came while it was closed. Enter opens the chat to type, too, and the game remembers how you left them.
On a phone the chat closes the same way; the tab bar along the bottom stays, as it is the menu there.
