Forestry

Wiki › Skills › Forestry

Trees, an axe and patience. A tree takes several good swings before it falls, and it remembers them.

Trees

Every log a felled tree gives earns the xp shown. A finer tree gives more logs and takes longer to grow back.

LevelUnlocksXP
1 Pine logs Pine logs — from a tree or a palm tree, with an axe (1 log a tree, back in 12 seconds) 25 xp
15 Ash logs Ash logs — from an ash, with an axe (1–3 logs a tree, back in 36 seconds) 37.5 xp
30 Alder logs Alder logs — from an alder, with an axe (1–4 logs a tree, back in 54 seconds) 62.5 xp
45 Beech logs Beech logs — from a beech, with an axe (2–4 logs a tree, back in 72 seconds) 100 xp
60 Ironwood logs Ironwood logs — from an ironwood, with an axe (2–5 logs a tree, back in 96 seconds) 175 xp

Axes

Any axe will do, in the pack or in hand. A better one lands more swings — but it asks for Precision, not Forestry.
